Call for Concept Notes for safe migration and anti-human trafficking Project in Nepal

AWO International is looking for new partners with a core expertise in safe migration and anti-human trafficking in Nepal. Concept Notes should be submitted latest by 07th of April 2018.

AWO International is a German INGO working in the field of Development Cooperation (Livelihood, Promotion of Safe Migration and Anti Human Trafficking) and Humanitarian Response and Recovery in South Asia. We invite organizations who fulfill the following criteria to submit a concept note for a project from Oct 2018 to end of 2019 (15 months) as a pilot project. 

 Organizations interested to apply should fulfill the following criteria:
* Expertise in safe migration and anti-human trafficking in Nepal with proven experience of minimum 2-3 years of project implementation.

* Should focus on disseminating information on safe migration and protecting rights of migrant workers, risks at trafficking and survivors of human trafficking.

* Organizations having a practice of good governance and proper organizational policies.
* Registered and affiliated with Social Welfare Council, District Administration Office and holding PAN.

 The Concept Note should be written in English and no longer than 7 pages including cover letter. It should consist of:

* Background: Organizational including list of board of directors, thematic issues

* Need analysis of the proposed area.

* SWOT analysis of the organization

* Proposed geographical areas (district municipality /rural municipality) including demographical analysis.

* Target groups

* Should integrate social structure approaches, livelihood approaches for economic empowerment and resilience and other cross-cutting issues.

* Coordination mechanism for project delivery (Linkage between local communities and government institutions, synergies with other actions and actors (Civil Society, Government, concerned forums/networks)
* Project logic (Outcome, Outputs and key activities)

* An estimated budget (Human resources, Operation and management cost). No detailed breakdown of the budget is required.


Concept Notes should be submitted together with the following documents:

* Annual progress reports of the last 2 years
* Audit reports of the last 2 years
* Organizational profile and strategic plan 
* Financial, administrative, personnel policies of the organization 
*   Specific report of ongoing or completed project in context safe migration and anti-human trafficking

The short listed organizations will be contacted for physical verification after 25th of April 2018. Based on the findings of the physical verification and field assessment, the organizations will be finalized and invited to submit a full proposal as per the AWO International’s guidelines.
